Sona #5
The SONA scarf is a unique, sustainable scarf made from upcycled silk, developed in collaboration with our partner Saheli Women in India. The fabric is dyed exclusively with natural ingredients such as flowers, plants, herbs, tree bark, and minerals, which creates soft, rich, and surprising colors.
The print is created using the eco-dye technique, where real flowers and herbs are hand-pressed into the fabric. This artisanal process is not only beautiful to behold but is also carried out with a loving intention for the eventual wearer.
With a size of approximately 1 x 2 meters, the SONA scarf is versatile and can be worn as a scarf, wrap, top, headband, or bandana. A multifunctional item that you can style in endless ways.
Because each scarf is made from leftover materials, the dimensions may vary slightly, without waste, exactly as intended.
Please note: because no chemicals were used during the dyeing process, the colors may bleed slightly or fade. Therefore, wash the scarf as little as possible and only by hand in lukewarm soapy water, with a small amount of detergent and vinegar, to keep the colors beautiful for as long as possible.
