Sima #9
The SIMA scarf is a sustainable silk scarf, made from upcycled materials and developed together with Saheli Women in India. The silk is naturally dyed with ingredients from nature, such as flowers, herbs and minerals, which creates subtle and unique color nuances.
For the print, the eco-dye technique is used: a traditional process in which the fabric is sprinkled and then steamed. Each scarf is created step by step, with attention and intention, making it completely one of a kind.
With a size of approximately 1 x 1 meter, the SIMA scarf is a versatile accessory that can be worn in various ways, such as around your neck, in your hair or as a bandana.
Because leftover fabrics are used, the dimensions may vary slightly. This ensures that every piece of material is optimally utilized, without unnecessary waste.
Please note: because no chemicals were used during the dyeing process, the colors may fade somewhat. Therefore, wash the scarf only by hand, in cold soapy water with a small drop of detergent and vinegar, and wash as little as possible to preserve its quality and color for as long as possible.
