Sima #7
The SIMA scarf is a sustainable silk scarf, made from upcycled materials and developed in collaboration with Saheli Women in India. The silk is naturally dyed with ingredients from nature, such as flowers, herbs, and minerals, which creates subtle and unique colour nuances.
The eco-dye technique is used for the print: a traditional process where the fabric is sprinkled and then steamed. Each scarf is created step by step, with attention and intention, making it completely one of a kind.
With a size of approximately 1 x 1 meter, the SIMA scarf is a versatile accessory that you can wear in various ways, such as around your neck, in your hair, or as a bandana.
Because leftover fabrics are used, the dimensions may vary slightly. This ensures that every piece of material is optimally utilized, without unnecessary waste.
Please note: due to the fact that no chemicals have been used during the dyeing process, the colours may fade somewhat. Therefore, only hand wash the scarf in a cold soapy solution with a small drop of detergent and vinegar, and wash as little as possible to preserve the quality and colour for as long as possible.
