Yay or nay?

It's about to happen β€” the crazy days are coming with huge discounts everywhere.

A few years ago "GREEN FRIDAY" was introduced, by several sustainable brands making a statement by choosing ππŽπ“ to participateΒ B.F.

I understand the idea behind it; how can a brand be sustainable when it's encouraging excessive consumption through discounts and pushing people to buy, right?

But does this imply that, as a sustainable brand, you're not allowed to run sales, offer discounts, or promote your collections?
As a young startup brand, it's already quite challenging to grow your business, and when participating in sales is considered a "dirty" practice just because you're committed to sustainability, it becomes even harder…

And let's be honest - we all like it to buy something when it's on sale right? So, instead of shaming people for purchasing during Black Friday, let's encourage and inspire people to make conscious decisions about what they buy and where and award them with a discount!

That's why I've come up with the following idea: 𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝐬𝐭, there will be a πŸ‘πŸŽ% discount on the entireΒ el.residueΒ collection.
However, this discount is divided into two parts: you will receive a πŸπŸ“% discount, and the other πŸπŸ“% will be donated to a beautiful organization called "The Blue House Project."

The Blue House Project is a non-profit organization established to support disadvantaged families living in tents in the desert of Pushkar (Rajasthan, India). These families reside in a tent camp and belong to the Scheduled Castes, who lack basic necessities, stable income, and access to education.
